स्वस्थ युवा - स्वस्थ भारत.

Project Sushruta was launched in August 2023 with the mission of delivering essential healthcare services, especially in underserved regions. The primary objective is to raise awareness, conduct screening, and provide counseling for genetic disorders, ultimately leading to early detection and improved health outcomes.

Susruta

Impact and Reach

Since its inception, Project Sushruta has already screened approximately 23,000 individuals out of a targeted population of 25,000. The initiative focuses on improving the overall quality of life by enabling early detection and management of genetic conditions. The project also aims to significantly reduce the prevalence and impact of genetic disorders in these regions.

Community Engagement

Project Sushruta engages local communities by organizing health awareness sessions and offering free or subsidized medical services. The initiative is designed to empower people through knowledge and accessible healthcare, aligning with the broader mission of “Healthy Youth – Healthy India” (स्वस्थ युवा - स्वस्थ भारत).

  • Rural, Underprivileged, and Tribal Areas: The project prioritizes regions where access to healthcare is limited and awareness is low.

  • Adolescent Health: Special focus is placed on screening young individuals, particularly adolescents, for genetic disorders like Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Anemia.

  • Preventive Health: Project Sushruta emphasizes preventive measures through regular health camps and awareness drives.

Vision and Long-term Goals:
  • To establish a robust network of diagnostic centers across central India, providing accessible, quality healthcare services.

  • To expand services into other domains of clinical diagnosis, setting up basic healthcare centers that offer comprehensive diagnostic and preventive services.

  • To create a sustainable model of healthcare delivery in underserved regions by partnering with local organizations and government bodies.
